Lovely summer wedding in Hurley at this brilliant Berkshire venue for wedding photos Olde Bell with Claire and Lars. It’s a really intimate and warm location at the Malthouse with the ceremony taking place in the Oak Room.
I met Claire and the girls upstairs for the bridal preparation – plenty of nervous laughter and excitement about the day ahead. Always such a special time for image capture. Downstairs in the Oak room Lars was eagerly awaiting for the ceremony to begin. It’s such a beautiful setting for a small ceremony with lots of natural light streaming through the leaded light windows.
Claire and her proud father made the long walk down the staircase and into the ceremony with lots of big smiles all round. As always laughter, tears and congratulations before the newlyweds exited into the gardens. With some young children there was an awesome bouncy castle ready to keep them entertained. Many lovely candid moments and some family shots also.
I escaped with the new bride and grooms into the grounds for a few private moments amongst the trees and grounds of the pub itself. It’s a superb setting. Onto the wedding breakfast with lots of atmosphere and fun. This included a Danish tradition for the Bride or Groom to be kissed if either one is left sitting on their own! Plus lots of toasts and lots of drinking also!
Very privileged to have been part of this special day with Claire and Lars and wedding photos Olde Bell.
