Fantastic day with Katy and Russell for wedding photos Kings Chapel. Such an alternative and intimate setting in this 18th Century Chapel.
The day began at St Luke’s Church in Luton where Russell and family were ready to go as I arrived. Plenty of nervous anticipation as I captured some candid images.
Katy shortly arrived looking stunning and made her way up the stairs. This is one of my favourite times catching the bride and bridesmaids deep in the moment.
With wonderful natural light streaming in Katy took the long walk and the ceremony started. Special mention to the vicar who was a joy to be around. So spirited and funny also. Lots of expansive photography coverage.
The newlyweds exited to confetti and congratulations before we made out way to Amersham Old Town. The Kings Chapel is a real gem and so inviting. With a Christmas tree just erected the scene was set for a festive wedding breakfast. This was relaxing and care free allowing for fun, candid image capture as the event progressed.
Katy and Russell escaped outside and we made use of the Chapel’s lighting to capture some dramatic intimate moments.
Onto the evening with a superb band in place including Katy’s father who is a musical director. Beautifully arranged and vocally sublime we witnessed a lovely first dance. With a zany photo booth and some crazy formation dancing the evening was set for a great time.
Loved my day with this fabulous couple and wedding photos Kings Chapel.
