Beautiful summers day with Holly and Julian for wedding photography Oxford.
With deep blue skies and a very warm day ahead I made my way to Hartwell House to meet the girl. Lots of nervous energy but laughter also as I captured some key moments.
Soon it was time to meet Julian and the rest of the wedding party at Oxford Town Hall. Simply a stunning location steeped in history but also benefitting from amazing natural light – the key ingredient. You could feel the energy in the air as I captured documentary photography to include the bridal party arrive and the dramatic long walk.
Plenty of lovely moments bathed in warm light to include the love, laughter and tears of this ceremony. The newlyweds exited to a confetti storm before hiking up to the river for a quick drink and a boat trip!
Just amazing to glide along the Thames to Iffley and watch the world go by before we arrived at the Isis Farmhouse Pub.
A very cool and quirky venue set back from the river with a marquee and attached barn. Plenty of space for the many children to explore. A steel band were deep in the groove as the drinks flowed under an Oxfordshire sun.
So relaxed and easy as I captured family shots, candid shots and all the while great fun and laughter.
Holly and Julian escaped and we headed towards Iffley Lock for some dreamy private moments before speeches, cake and dancing.
I left as the sun was setting but such a magical day for this fun couple and wedding photography Oxford.
Loved my day with them.
