Beautiful summer’s day for this wedding Hedsor House with Sarah and Paul. So warm and sunny as I arrived and made my way to the bridal suite to meet the girls. It’s a photographer’s dream with stunning natural light flooding the rooms and allowing for creative, informal photography.
A freak rain storm arrived as I met Paul and the boys. Umbrellas at the ready as they made their way down the hill to the local St Nicholas church. Such a fantastic location for a ceremony due to location, it’s small size and an amazing vicar.
Sarah and her proud father arrived in a classic Rolls Royce and made the long walk in brilliant sunshine. Inside and outside I felt the nervous energy. This always makes for dramatic image capture especially the long walk. A lovely ceremony followed making for expansive photography.
The newlyweds exited into a confetti shower and some impromptu family shots before heading up to Hedsor House. With the French doors open, guests on the lawn the drinks reception was in full flow. I captured the story and some classic family shots also.
After the wedding breakfast and speeches were finished the newlyweds escaped into the grounds. Some beautiful private moments before we made use of the stunning upstairs for an alternative set of images.
Soon the cake was cut and time for the first dance. Sarah and Paul hit the floor and luckily lasted long enough for me to run upstairs for capture an essential images. Party event photography followed with some zany image capture.
Brilliant day for this wedding Hedsor House. Loved my day with with Sarah and Paul.
