Glorious sunny September day for Waddesdon Dairy wedding photos. This really is a spectacular Buckinghamshire lakeside wedding venue beautifully hidden below the commanding presence of Waddesdon Manor.
I arrived to find Linda and the girls getting ready in the cottage and in great spirits making for classic bridal preparation images. Steve and the boys were deep into the preparation also plus a few little ones to add a further dynamic to the image capture.
With plenty of time I managed to capture the beautiful calmness and grandeur of an outside ceremony prior to the drama unfolding. Soon all the guests were seated at the lakeside pavilion as the bridal party waited in the Wintergarden. I love the nervous energy at this time with a date with destiny just about to begin.
A stunning, dramatic entrance by the bridesmaids followed by the gorgeous bride and her proud father. Such a joy to see moments like this and document a lovely, intimate ceremony in majestic surroundings.
The newlyweds exited into the courtyard. As the sun shone brightly the reception began with lots of candid and fun moments. The West Hall was set up beautifully for the wedding breakfast as the wedding party filled this space and created the atmosphere to follow. Many heartfelt speeches that distract everyone enough for a photographer to tell the story in images of love, laughter, tears and joy. Such a key part of any day. Immaculate cuisine as always from this premier venue followed.
With free time Linda, Steve and I made our way off for some private shots at once of the most iconic wedding settings. The Manor was built by the Rothschilds in the style of a French Chateau. It’s impossible not to feel and capture the beauty of the moment. So pleased for this lovely couple that they had this unique experience.
Just enough time to capture some more family shots before the all important cake cutting and the dance too.
