Beautiful winter weather for Phillie’s special day and Thame wedding photography. A colourful day at of St Mary’s Church and a marquee in Thame.
Truly magnificent day was had from beginning to end. An epic bridal preparation including a music rehearsal just to make it different! Also a dash to get to the church on time but what a beauty.
Such a dramatic entrance. A slow walk by the bridal party with the bride singing her heart out as the musician’s played. I forgot to mention that Phillie is a very accomplished singer and Steve’s expression was a picture in itself. Expansive creative, ceremony photography in this vast arena throughout with such great light steaming in.
The newlyweds exited to confetti and congratulations and some impromptu family shots. Whilst the guests headed to the marquee for the reception we escaped for some lovely private moments. The party was in full swing as the daylight faded and the speeches began in earnest. Bright, funny and heartfelt words flowed accompanied by laughter, cheers and some tears for dearly departed. Magical to witness and capture.
Everyone drank and dined with many moments of candid image capture in between. I whisked the girls away and out into the night for some arty, alternative images around the church. Back in time for cake cutting and the first dance followed by exuberant dancing and drink. Lovely to capture some wild party shots!
Fabulous love story with a brillant couple and Thame wedding photography. Loved my day with them.
