Beautiful spring day for this fabulous same sex wedding ceremony. Sunshine and blue skies for Laura and Mandy on their special Sopwell House Wedding.
My first time at this stunning location and just perfect weather for this intimate, same sex wedding celebration.
I arrived early to capture guests outdoors in the sunshine. Soon it was time for the ceremony and both brides arrived and you could feel the nerves. Once the ceremony had begun a surprise was in store. A beautiful owl had been given the task of flying the rings down the aisle! Quite a surprise for everyone but this all went very well.
We exited onto the terrace for confetti and congratulations and everyone loved the chance to had a photograph with the owl. I whisked the newlyweds away for some intimate but fun private moments prior to the wedding breakfast with a brilliant “Harry Potter” theme.
Great speeches followed and soon it was time for the first dance. The girls had secretly worked on a dance routine with their friends that was utterly brilliant.
