Brilliant day for Olde Bell wedding photography with Amy and Jon. It’s a lovely Berkshire barn wedding location and one that I have visited many times as a preferred supplier.
With blue skies and the sun shining I arrived. Firstly I caught up with Amy and the girls for the bridal preparation capturing the natural flow. In addition to this it’s always lovely to witness the nervous energy on display. A fast drive took me over to Binfield for the ceremony at the very beautiful All Saint’s Church which most importantly was already full. Soon enough the bridal party arrived in a stunning Rolls Royce allowing for some dramatic images as Amy made her waited to meet the vicar.
All was set for the entrance and Jon’s face was a mixture of joy and nerves in equal measure. Beautiful moments followed during the long walk. Exceptional lighting allowed for expansive ceremony photography. In addition I was able to capture images from all aspects. Finally the joyous newlyweds exited outside. However dark clouds had gathered so we quickly made sure they were covered in confetti before heading over to Hurley.
Plenty of laughter and good times during the drinks reception as the party began in earnest. With the sun shining brightly Amy and Jon relished the chance to escape for some private moments. The wedding party headed into the Tythe Barn for a relaxed and carefree wedding breakfast especially aided by a scrabble challenge to keep everyone entertained. Clearly the table of English teachers won!!
When the speeches began these were heartfelt and loving. Definitely a few tears and cheers – so great to capture all the emotions. Last but not least cake cutting and the dance before the dancefloor filled.
Another classic as this cool venue and Olde Bell wedding photography.
