Always love an Old Luxters Barn wedding as I have covered many here over the years. It’s such an amazing setting with the barn itself and the stunning grounds also.
I met up with Helen and here lovely parents at her home and the bride was ready to go looking stunning with a golden tan from a pre wedding holiday! Some relaxed, informal portraits before I made my way to the venue.
On arrival at Old Luxters there was a flurry of activity as many of David’s family had arrived and guests were sampling the local ale from the shop. So many photo opportunities with such a laid back atmosphere.
With everyone seated Helen arrived and made a stunning entrance accompanied by an opera singer. A beautiful ceremony followed and luckily i was able to discreetly move and capture this special time from every angle.
On exit the newlyweds were showered with confetti and heartfelt congratulations. As the drinks reception began there was lots of great candid photography with everyone enjoying being outside.
Helen and David escaped for some private moments among the vine groves. This is just an exceptional location and i captured them enjoying their first moment alone.
Onto speeches and with natural light streaming in, lots of joy and laughter and capturing all the wedding party unawares.
