Fabulous day for this fun, sun kissed Lains Barn wedding. It all began at the elegant Milton Hill hotel where a room full of the bridal party were cheekily sipping bubbly and loving the moment. So many fun and candid bridal preparation shots for Louise
I met Luke at the stunning St Mary’s Church in East Hendred as the guests arrived and could feel the nervous energy in the air. It’s such a great time to document this part of the day. Soon the bridesmaids arrived and of course a beaming bride.
Such a beautiful entrance and a ceremony bathed in summer’s light. I was able to provide expansive photography throughout this time. The newlyweds exited to confetti and congratulations before heading off to one of my favourite venues.
I have photographed over 25 weddings at Lains Barn and feel so at home there. With guaranteed sunshine we spent the drinks reception outside on the lawn and I managed to drag Louise and Luke off for a few minutes to capture a few private moments prior to the wedding breakfast.
The barn was decorated beautifully for the special time and the atmosphere was superb at the drinks flowed and delicious cuisine was served. It’s an opportune time for lovely candid moments of all the guests. Onto some heartfelt speeches with a few tears but plenty of laughter.
Before long it was time for the party to begin in earnest and the wedding couple hit the dance floor for the first dance. The wedding party soon joined in and flooded the dance floor.
