What a glorious day we had for this fun and intimate Kings Chapel Amersham wedding. With blue skies and warm weather I met Dan in the grand setting of Beaconsfield Old Town for the registry office ceremony with just close family invited. Suddenly Tea swept in looking divine and we were ready. I have covered many weddings here and this was a lovely ceremony with plenty of candid and natural photography.
On exited we made use of the local surrounding for some fun, private shots including the local phone box for some alternative moments for my Norwegian bride. Plus some great documentary images as they meandered back to the wedding car. This just happened to be a Vintage 70’s porche loving restored and it made for some interesting images especially as Tea squeezed all the dress in the front set and two guests in the back!
Onto the unique Kings Chapel where a very vocal and delighted group greeted the newlyweds with confetti and congratulations before the party began in earnest. With lots of Tea’s Norwegian family and friends in attendance this really added a continental flavour as the drinks flowed and inviting canapes were served. The domed main hall was set and looking stunning for the wedding breakfast. With high summer natural light streaming in I was able to capture so many natural and fun moments throughout the dining and the speeches afterwards. There are so many angles to capture here.
All that remained was the evening party to begin with the all importrant first dance, followed by some serious party dance moves. With darkness approaching I departed from this wonderful Kings Chapel Amersham wedding.
