Truly wonderful day with Ewa and Christopher for Hedsor House wedding photos.
This exquisite venue was shining bright on this warm spring day as I arrived for the bridal preparation.
The bride and girls were in high spirits and very excited about the day ahead so make the image capture a joy with many fun and candid images. The bridal suite is enormous and there are always so many angles and moments to find. Christopher and the groomsmen were upstairs in the guest rooms so this was ideal to document their part of the day also, capturing some pre wedding tension and laughter in equal measure.
Onto St Teresa’s Church in Beaconsfield for a magical ceremony with two priests showcasing the rich culture of a Polish girl and an Armenian boy. I have been here many times for weddings and it’s such an amazing church to see this story play out with expansive ceremony images and beautiful natural light streaming in. With confetti and congratulations on exit we soon made our way onto the wedding venue.
Luckily the newlyweds arrived first so we were able to capture a few private moments before the buses arrived. On this sunny day we used the buses and wedding car as a backdrop for some family shots and a few of the happy couple on the double decker – always love this.
The reception was in full swing with a string quartet and sumptuous canapes and champagne. Making use of the beautiful grounds the day took on that garden party feel. Soon the dining began and this room was filled with that wonderful found when families and friends combine to celebrate. So much fun and love as the drinks flowed enabling this photographer to meander throughout a beautiful wedding breakfast. There was just a few congratulatory vodkas consumed! Lots of tears and cheers for the speeches but wonderful to witness.
We headed for the main hall and the dance floor and the all important first dance. So magical especially when seen from the upstairs gallery. This was followed by some traditional Polish dancing and then the dance floor filled for some night.
Loved my time with this great couple and capturing some eclectic Hedsor House wedding photos.
