Brilliant day with Sarah and James at their Crazy Bear wedding. Much fun and laughter on their special day at this unique venue in Stadhampton Oxfordshire.
It all began with some bridal preparation at on of the venues cottages and I found the girls in great spirits even though there was a threat of rain. With the music pumping it was a great way to start.
On arrival at St Edmunds church James and the Groomsmen were already set for the day with a few nerves evident but everyone was busy greeting the many friends and family. Such a great time for documentary photography.
Sarah arrived in a white taxi and you could feel the nervous energy from everyone but she simply looked stunning in an exquisite creation and a pairs of the coolest wedding shoes! With a backdrop of a majestic Catholic church I made sure to capture the bridal party both outside and the all important long walk in. The groom’s face was a picture in itself.
During the ceremony I was able to move discreetly allowing for expansive ceremony photography. On exit we quickly took a few family shots and made our way to the Crazy Bar. It’s quite a different venue with some zany ideas but I love it all the same.
The Glasshouse is amazing for a wedding breakfast and so perfect for the lively and fun wedding party. Aided by a fabulous magician the atmosphere was superb. As the guests dined and the celebratory drinks flowed I really got caught up in the vide of the day.
Heartfelt and fun speeches came next and at points the room was filled with shrieks and whistles as the stories rolled out. Just enough time for cake cutting before some serious dance moves to get the party really started.
So great to be part of this lovely couple’s Crazy Bear wedding.
