Fabulous day for this Burnham Beeches Hotel wedding with blue skies and warm weather. I arrived at Jo’s house for the bridal preparation and a whirlwind of activity so captured some great, fun moments of all the girls. Zowie at Flutterby Pro Beauty was creating some magic.
Soon I was on my way to meet Ryan and the boys at the Community Church in Maidenhead. With a large contingent who had travelled across from Ireland this was going to be a colourful day combined with Jo’s Indian family. Some nervous anticipation was in the air mixed with plenty of joyful congratulations.
Jo arrived and you could have cut the tension with a knife. This made for some powerful images as the bride met the vicar and created a dramatic entrance for the ceremony. Soon the couple were all smiles as a beautiful service followed with plenty of song, laughter and the odd tear also. It’s a large church and I was able to capture expansive ceremony images from all angles. The newlyweds exited to cheers and a glorious sunshine and were duly congratulated before heading off the venue.
Burnham Beeches Hotel is a stunning 18th century Georgian manor house located right beside a vast wooded area with acres of gardens in Buckinghamshire. We made full use of the garden for the drinks reception and some family shots plus tons of confetti! As the guests made their way for the wedding breakfast I took the time to create some intimate moments with Jo and Ryan. Love this time as they finally have some time together and it’s magical.
The Wedding breakfast was boisterous and fun filled throughout so this allowed for many candid images as the room was bathed in warm sunlight. Beautiful speeches that were both poignant and joyous creating deep, heartfelt moments to capture. With plenty of time Jo and Ryan jumped into my car and raced to the woods for some images in the golden hour. The bride and groom were so carefree and this allowed some many different images.
Back at the venue the stage was set for cake cutting and dancing followed by some serious bhangra tunes played to a packed dance floor. Such a wonderful day at this Burnham Beeches Hotel wedding.
